We first met them in July, 2006. We had seen some of her listings on-line and contacted her to help us purchase a vacation condo in Summit County. As most of us do, these days, we first looked on-line to find properties we were interested in and presented Lori with our list a few days prior to the date we were to look at listings. We also provided her with a list of items that were important to us with regard to the property we were hoping to purchase. We met Lori on a Saturday morning to start our search. As the good realtor she is, she took us to see the listings we asked to see. We were not impressed with any of them. Then she took us to a listing she had chosen in the Salt Lick complex. It was love at first sight! We quickly made an offer, it was accepted and we (and our adult children) enjoyed our mountain condo for the past 8 years. A few weeks ago, we decided it was time to list the condo as we wanted to purchase a place in warmer climates. Because Lori had stayed in touch with us since our initial meeting, we had no hesitation in calling her to help us list our property for sale. We felt Lori's experience and knowledge of the Summit County market was reason enough to list with her. But we also got the added benefit of some very smart business decisions she and her husband have made over the years in that they ran such a successful real estate business that larger companies felt it was a good financial risk for them to partner with the Mitchells and grow the business even more. This provided Lori with a larger arsenal of marketing tools and, of course, a larger budget with which to market. As we said, all this was a bonus as we already had full confidence in Lori's ability to market and sell our property. The day she listed our property, we received a good strong offer within six hours of it hitting the market. We accepted that offer and closed a little over three weeks later! It is important to note, even though we had an offer and essentially her job was done, Lori still went above and beyond to insure this deal closed. Once the inspection was done, there were a couple of small items that needed to be repaired. Lori not only found the professionals to do the repairs, she booked the repair times and then she went to our condo and waited while the repairs were done. She didn't have to do this but that is the type of service she likes to offer her clients. She is very hands on and likes to make sure she has done everything she possibly can to help you purchase your property or get it sold. Our only regret, now, is we don't have another property to list. But if we did, we wouldn't hesitate to contact Lori again.

Lori was able to show us a number of properties, but none really fit our needs. Just about one year later (Spring of 2013) Lori contacted us again, and said 3 properties were just listed in a very desirable community in Dillon. Lori kept our file open, knew what we wanted, and made sure, no matter the timeline, she would find us that perfect property. We set up an afternoon of showings, and by dinner we had our offer in and accepted at that perfect property. Two years later, our needs suddenly change - we need to sell ASAP, and coordinate the purchase of a new property one valley to the west. Thanks to the help of Lori and Scott, our Dillon property was listed on a Friday, had two very aggressive offers by the following Sunday night. We were able to close on Dillon 6 days prior to the close of the new property, and the move was seamless. Lori and Scott Mitchell are not only our agents, but they have become our friends. Professional, patient, honest, detailed-oriented - they are what everyone wants in real estate agents.

We have sold two condos and bought two condos through Scott and Lori in Summit County, Colorado. We found them to be very honest, responsive and great communicators.
